Interior Residential Remodeling Contractor
Seeking experienced crews to join our team (both independent contractors and employee positions available). In addition to crews, we are also looking for assistant carpenters/tradesmen to join/support crews.
Description
STL Design & Build is expanding, and we’re looking for skilled exterior remodeling crews, independent contractors, and assistant carpenters/tradesmen to join our team! If you take pride in precision craftsmanship and want consistent, rewarding work, we want to hear from you.
Who We're Looking For:
Deck Installers – Skilled in building wood and composite decks, including stair pads and flatwork. Must have experience with various railing systems, particularly aluminum rails like Westbury.
Window Installers – Proficient in removing and replacing windows in existing homes. Must be able to: Take accurate measurements for manufacturer orders Prepare openings for new windows and ensure a secure, weathertight fit Perform exterior trim work using a metal break Caulking experience required
Siding & Gutter Installers – Experienced in vinyl, Hardie Board, and other siding materials. Must be familiar with: Various backer board and insulation types Metal break work for exterior trim Proper installation techniques to ensure durability and protection
Note: While watching HGTV is great for inspiration, real hands-on experience is required!
What You’ll Do:
- Complete exterior remodeling projects to meet STL Design & Build standards and local code requirements.
- Work efficiently while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
- Train and supervise team members as needed. Keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with project managers.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in exterior remodeling/home repair.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail – Show up, do great work, and take pride in craftsmanship.
- Ability to work outdoors year-round – Must be comfortable with all weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation, tools, and references – Must have a valid MO Driver’s License & insurance.
- Physical capability – Able to lift 50+ lbs.
*We have both 1099 and W2 positions available*

Description
We are seeking an experienced In-Home Interior Sales Representative to join our all-star team to cover the Central Missouri area. An ideal candidate is a self-motivated and friendly individual, with a dedication to delivering top-quality service. Reliable transportation is a must. Base Pay plus Commissions. Paid training. Must have a minimum of 2-3 years outside sales experience (Kitchen, Bathroom preferred).
All leads are generated in-house by a Customer Service department. STL Design and Build sets sales reps up with tools needed to succeed.
